teaching experience

Teaching has been the foundation of my entire career, and it’s something I’m deeply passionate about. I’ve taught in a wide range of settings—from traditional collegiate classrooms to yoga mats and foreign language courses—and each experience has shaped the way I approach education: with flexibility, curiosity, and humility.

As a lifelong learner, I believe that teaching is as much about listening as it is about sharing knowledge. I enjoy meeting people where they are, creating space for growth, and connecting through shared experience. Whether in a formal classroom or a more informal setting, I find joy in making learning meaningful, approachable, and rooted in mutual respect. I also truly enjoy meeting new people and learning from every interaction, both as a teacher and a student.

looking ahead - future teaching opportunities

I'm currently seeking future teaching opportunities and would love to connect with communities, organizations, or individuals interested in collaborating. I’m available to lead multi-session classes or one-time workshops, and I’m comfortable teaching in a wide variety of settings—whether it's a studio, classroom, gallery, or community space. If you're looking to offer creative, engaging, and approachable learning experiences, I'd be excited to talk - please email me at bettina.chow.pottery@gmail.com
